Fi entices Link to draw the blade and, with the help of Gaepora, exposits the great destiny that he must fulfill by descending to the Surface and reuniting with Zelda, giving him the Emerald Tablet that will open the way to Faron Woods.įi goes on to accompany Link in his travels throughout the game, designating him to be her master as the wielder of the Goddess Sword and pledging her eternal guidance and loyalty to him. She leads Link throughout the town of Skyloft to the secret interior of the Statue of the Goddess where the Goddess Sword rests. Fi first appears to Link inside the Knight Academy shortly after he is separated from Zelda by a black tornado.
