That's you Howie.a really classy guy brimming with good taste! Baseball dunk was next and Tony Lo Bianco's 3-for-3 performance led ABC to victory.

However, "in good taste does not want to discuss them in detail". He stated that everyone is familiar with the problems that she has endured over the years.

Cosell opened up his big mouth again when Jennifer O'Neill was injured in a qualifying match. Good job for keeping things light Howie! The only full game showed in the football event was the final. In this part of the broadcast Cosell tactfully interviews Tracy Scoggins and asks her if she is bothered by the fact that people consider her "just a sexpot no talent". The CBS team was a poor sport about the whole thing and actually protested (even though their loss had nothing to do with the Danza fiasco). Luckily, Tracy Scoggins kicked some major butt in the third leg and drove her team to an exciting come from behind victory. He caused his team to fall quite a bit behind. Tony Danza (ABC Team) lost control of his kayak and went sideways, partially entering the CBS lane. Victory easily went to NBC in this event. Stepfanie Kramer was holding a very narrow lead for NBC when Mark Harmon buried the competition while swimming the third leg. IMPORTANT NOTE: I will be discussing the winners of the events so don't read this if you don't want to see any spoilers! As usual, things kicked off with the swimming relay. Poor Shari Belafonte-Harper was stuck in the middle smiling bravely and trying to keep her sanity. And with Catherine Bach suffering from an earlier injury.Howard Cosell was back again as the obnoxious, sexist host with Bob Uecker there as well trying to annoy the heck out of everyone. He just dug in there and wouldn't let go. Harmon and Wopat were the same age (almost to the day) and fairly evenly matched Harmon as a trained athlete might even have had an edge. He was amazing as the anchor, the "rock of Gibraltar," as Cosell put it. And Pernell Roberts was not, as one reviewer said, 52 he was 54 (born in 1928) and had anywhere from 12 years to 23 years on any of the other men. Remember, one of the three women on the CBS team was only a 13- year-old slip of a girl, Danielle Brisebois. :) That tug of war is something else, a triumph of the underdog. The stars tended to acquit themselves better as amateur athletes than as intellectuals at Celebrity Jeopardy. But still, it's great fun to watch these old shows.

Plus, we can all point and laugh at the hairstyles and such, at least before we remember (some of us anyway) that we used to wear such styles ourselves. All right, BOTNS was kind of cheesy and Cosell's commentary, as if each segment were the Olympics, can give you a chuckle.
